The Comox Valley Pipe Band has over 30 playing members as well as 15 students. Outfitting these members with uniforms as well as band chanters, drums and other musical equipment is a costly operation. Many of the engagements the band plays at are done to support the community or charities, so much of the bands operating money is raised through donations.
